Patio cushions are as good as the sofa in your living room. Both are big decorative workpiece lying on a big area in your house. So selection of patio cushions are as good or better than the sofa in your house. Given that these furniture are place outside and first viewed by anyone which stepped into your house. It should blend well with your house theme and also the furniture and vegetation around the patios. By putting all these together with the patio cushions, one can create a very nice whole environment for yourself and your visitors.

First of all, the most important aspect of selection is the patio cushion colour. You will need to consider the exterior wall colour, choice of surrounding plants, lying status and tables and even the lightings hanging around. After identifying the colour, another factor to consider is the possible patio cushion patterns with maybe 2 or 3 colours. This may provide an interesting patio cushion pattern beside the plain 1 colour wall or green vegetation. It is important how your patio cushions are able to blend well with the surroundings.

Next to consider will be the patio cushion texture. Patio Cushion Texture provides the users a feeling of the cushions. There are different materials as mentions in my article Patio Cushions - Fabric Choice. The texture can give a soft comfortable feel or a silky delicate cushion. It also depends on the kind of visitors you will be expecting to sit on your patio cushions.

Thirdly is an important feature which is the patio cushion material. Different country has different climates. This will have a big impact to your patio cushions due to the outdoor nature. It will be exposed to the sunlight, wind, dust, water and impacts too. You would not want your patio cushion to catch mold easily after few months of non maintenance. Depending on your theme, climate and budget, you can properly choose and ask about which is the suitable patio cushion for your home.
