A Birthday is always fun, but how a person chooses to celebrate their Birthday is what makes it even more fun! What better way to celebrate a Birthday than having a Birthday party in a limo? Everyone likes feeling like a millionaire for a day! With this How-To article, I'll show you how to throw a successful Birthday bash in the classiest of all vehicles.

Personally, I recently did this for my Birthday. I turned 19 on June 7th, and wanted a cool way to celebrate the last of my teen years. A limo seemed like an awesome idea (Which it was!).

First thing's first: the price. Sure, there are many limo services out there who will give you and your guests a great night out on the town for 150 dollars or more per hour, which adds up fast (if you want to have a decent party length that is). Ouch! Well, rest easy, because not all limo services are outrageous. You will have to be willing to pay a little bit-after all, you are going to be riding in a limo. However, there are many affordable limo services out there for those of us who want to have fun, and still not break the bank. You just have to do your homework and search for good prices, because they are out there!

Crack open that phonebook, and open that internet browser: time to start looking for a limo service.

Time to start looking for the perfect limo service for you. Search, search, search is my advice for you! Use different keywords frequently, and re-search-it may help you find what you're looking for faster that way. Enter keywords like limos plus [your city name] in your search box to see what you can find. If you're looking for affordable limo services, try typing affordable limo services with [your city name] in your search box. Look in your local phonebook as well for limo services. There are a ton of limo services to choose from no matter which resource, internet or phonebook, you use.

Say you're looking for the perfect limo service for you, but you're just not seeming to find anything. Keep looking, and don't give up! You will find something! I almost felt like giving up at one point, but then up came the perfect limo service right there, waiting for me. Keep your chin up-you will find the perfect limo service that works for if you!

Once you have your limo set and ready to go, it's now time to invite everyone! Make some cute invitations that have to do with the theme of your party (if you're party has a theme), etc.-get creative with it! Let all of your guests know they're invited to your party well in advance to be polite. Ask your guests to R.S.V.P. as soon as possible, that way you know who's coming, and who's not (if anyone).

Think about maybe buying some party favors. They add flair to any party, and get people in the mood for fun. Even if they're cheesy little things, they're still fun, and your guests are bound to appreciate the effort you've made. Think of a theme, or some type of party favors you'd like to get. I personally did leis-I got tons of them for my guests, and we all had a ball with those.

Also, if your limo does not provide sodas, you may be able to bring your own-ask ahead of time though. The limo service I got provided glasses (champagne and regular), with water and ice. Most of my guests are not major water drinkers, so I asked the limo people if it was alright if I brought some sodas of my own along, and they said it was fine. So you never know-just ask. On the topic of drinks-you're going to want something fun and festive to drink those drinks out of, right? You can find those awesome little plastic champagne glasses at Party City, etc.-any party store should have plastic champagne glasses. Those are always fun, and they make everyone feel fancy. Sometimes though, like with my limo, they provided actual champagne glasses. Accidentally, I had forgotten to bring my champagne glasses, but luckily, we had the ones that were provided with our limo. Don't like the look of the usual plastic champagne glasses? No worries! There are other types of plastic champagne glasses that actually look like real champagne glasses! You just have to search for some. If your local party store does not have the type of champagne glasses you're looking for, maybe buy some online-you can get tons at a cheap price! If you're unsure what all is going to be in your limo for drinks, ask! Don't be afraid-you're the customer, and they want you to be happy. Call them to ask about anything that's going to be in your limo at that!

Play music! Tell your friends to bring their CDs/DVDs (if your limo has a DVD player) too. Yes, it is your party, but by letting everyone bring their own music too, they'll have more fun. Everyone likes listening to their favorite music. Take turns, and be a good sport. There should be a radio in your limo as well though, if you and your guests would just prefer to station surf.

Take pictures! One of the most important things to do besides having fun! Tell all of your guests to bring their cameras as well, and then send all of the pictures to everyone the next day to laugh and reminisce about your awesome party!

Things You Will Need

• A copy of your local phonebook.

• Internet.
Note: Internet is optional-if you at least have your phonebook, you should still be able to find a good limo service. However, the internet might provide you with more options, as a phonebook may not have as many limo service listings (though the phonebook does have quite a few listings-it's just that you might be able to find more information with the internet, than with the phonebook).

• Some money that you're willing to spend for the limo.

• Guests.

• Party favors.
Note: Birthday hats, plastic champagne glasses and sparkling cider or ginger ale, leis, necklaces, buttons, big sunglasses, goofy glasses, etc. are all fun ideas for party favors that everyone enjoys.

• A playlist that you, or you and your guests put together, or CDs.

• DVDs.
Note: Some limos have DVD players, some don't. If you're unsure, find out by calling the limo service.

So, there you go! That's my advice on how to throw a limo Birthday party! I hope my advice was helpful to you. Now go throw a big limo Birthday party that your guests are sure to remember forever!

Tips & Warnings

WARNING: Make sure you start looking for a limo, and book a limo at least a few weeks prior to the Birthday party date (although a month or more is probably your best bet). I am always late with everything I do, but luckily scored a great limo about a week before my party. However, I don't suggest waiting that long, as limo services get booked well in advance. You may not find the right limo, or miss out on a good deal, or other things if you start looking/book a limo too late.

TIP: If your limo service of choice had excellent service, let them know! Send them an email the next day or so after your party, letting them know that you had a great time. Make sure to thank them for making sure everything went smoothly. They'll definitely appreciate it, and may even quote you on their site for future users of that service to see! Maybe even check out some review places online, and write up a review if you want, to let people know how you like that particular service you chose. Do the same if things did not go well also. Some services want to know this information so that they can hire new staff to make their service acceptable if they have to.
