How to treat a bladder infection

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 0 0

A bladder infection can be pretty painful depending on the person it has affected. A bladder infection may be caused from a bacterial infection, a viral infection or even parasites. Not only do you want the nasty things in your body out of there, you also want to feel better. There are ways to cure a bladder infection naturally without having to take a prescription.

Things You Will Need

cranberry juice, blueberry juice, vinegar, honey, water

Step 1

Drink two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar mixed with 2 tablespoons of honey and 8 ounces of water once a day. Some people prefer to drink this mix at room temperature while others prefer to warm it up. Either way will work just as effectively.

Step 2

Drink 8 ounces of cranberry or blueberry juice with every meal. Cranberry and blueberry juice have a natural cure that cleans bacteria from urinary walls. It also provides you with healthy enzymes and properties to naturally cleanse your body. Some people find it very delicious to mix the two juices together. Other people do not care for cranberry or blueberry juice so they will mix a little bit of lemon lime soda to add some flavor that they prefer.

Step 3

Keep your body clean. Keeping your body clean is one of the major rules in both avoiding and curing a bladder infection. When you bathe or shower, be sure to wash all areas of your body thoroughly, and change your clothes every day. Wearing dirty clothes will attract bacteria that may get into your body.

Step 4

Drink as much water as you can a day. Water is the healthiest thing that you can put into your body as long as it's filtered. There are many harmful chemicals in non-filtered water that is poisoning your body. Filtered water will help clean out your system. Instead of drinking your favorite soda, try drinking a glass of filtered water instead. You will see an improvement in no time.

Usually it is pretty simple to clear a bladder infection. If the bladder infection becomes too severe or painful it is important to see a doctor. An untreated bladder infection can lead to other serious problems.
