You wedding day is the most important event for you and you want it to be most memorable. The wedding dress is one of the very important things you have to plan for. Picking a black dress for your gown is a very daring and creative option. It is becoming increasingly popular among brides-to-be to choose other colours instead of the usual white and off white gowns.

It is every girl's wish to look ravishing on her wedding day. The prefect dress is essential but having a radiant looking skin is equally important. Stay away from dull and tired skin. Here are some tips for you to prepare your skin to look fresh and flawless.

Start with a good skin care routine. A good skin care routine comprises of cleansing, toning, moisturizing and exfoliating. Cleansing helps to remove dirt and grease while toning helps to close up pores. Moisturizing hydrates the skin and exfoliating removes dead skin cells. Choose products that are suitable for your skin type and avoid products that contain alcohol and chemicals. Alcohol and chemicals can be harsh on your skin. There are many organic skin products that are made from natural ingredients which are gentle on the skin.

One good skin care habit when taking care of your skin is to remove your make up before going to sleep. Leaving your make up on may clog up your pores and may lead to skin irritation and inflammation. Remember also to apply some sunscreen to protect your skin from ultraviolet rays. Ultraviolet rays breaks down skin collagen which is needed to give our skin elasticity.

Eat well by having a good balance diet. Having good skin products to protect and treat our skin on the surface is not enough. Ultimately, we are what we eat. Avoid fried and processed food. Have more fresh fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water. Drinking water not only hydrates your skin but also helps to detoxify your body. Avoid drinking too much of alcohol as it dehydrates your skin.

There are other bad habits like smoking and late nights contribute to damage skin. Smoking dehydrates and deprives skin of nutrients causing it to lose elasticity. Staying up late is known to interrupt biological rhythm. Stay away from these if your goal is to have a healthy radiant skin.

If you are planning to shave, ensure that your blades are new and sharp. Shave gently to prevent yourself from being cut. Try waxing as an alternative as it can last longer.

Follow these tips for a smooth and radiant looking skin on your big day.
