Decorate as you wish. Chocolate candy ice cream coating is great, then
you can sprinkle with nuts, like a nutty buddy, or with colored candy sprinkles.
Another way to serve is topping the cone cakes with icing. Color your
icing to match the party theme. Birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's
or Easter.

You always have the coolest ideas. I like the nutty buddy version. So would I put the ice cream on the cone, then pour melted chocolate over it and sprinkle on nuts? Then freeze it?

Not melted chocolate, buy the chocolate ice cream coating, it hardens on top of the ice cream without freezing. You can store in freezer until serving, but can also served right away.
