You may be able to find a wedding centrepiece that is more flamboyant and up your street that you can rent for a reasonable price rather than trying to buy it and end up stuck with it sitting in your garage for years to come. The wedding clothes such as the bride's dress and groom's suit can also be rented although brides can be quite resistant to this.

The photographer is another key cost in the wedding supplies budget. You can curb this cost by have less pictures taken. It is always worth having some professional shots done though you can leave some of the more relaxed photos of the guests to the guests themselves. Just buy a batch of disposable cameras, leave them around the venue and encourage everyone to get snap happy.

Planning and prioritising is the key to keeping your wedding budget within reasonable limits. There is no need to worry that by spending less your day will be any less special. It won't!
