Improve Accuracy with PSE Gemini Sight

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 0 0

PSE offers basic, mid-level and advanced sights for any kind of archer or shooter. Depending on the type of shooting or hunting that you do, you can  select from a variety of sights that are available from PSE. In 2012, PSE released new sights such as the PSE Galaxy sight that are affordable and with unique features for different types of shooters.

Ranked by Amazon as #170, 552 in Sports and Outdoors products, the PSE Gemini sight is a popular choice due to its affordability and main features. The PSE Gemini goes for about US$20-30, and is considered a basic sight. You can get some good deals right off the bat from archery or hunting websites including Amazon in the Sports and Outdoors section. The PSE Gemini is very straightforward and simple in function. Basically, the PSE Galaxy sight contains three 0.029” fiber optic sight pins that are mid-sized pins compared to the micro-pins of PSE Galaxy sights (0.019”). Some people prefer mid-sized pins which can improve visualization than micro-pins. It also contains injection molded true radius pin guards to give you a standard sized sight picture. The machined aluminum body is very light weight and does not add any additional burden. It is good for both left handed or right handed people.

The PSE Gemini bow sight also has dual pin tracks, which allows no gaps between each pin space. It is an angled pin track to give you true pin alignment. This allows you to tinker with the position of the pin on the track whether you need it up or down based on the requirements of elevation. The PSE Gemini bow sight can be considered as a very functional sight, without difficulty in adjusting and used for recreational activities or hunting purposes.

Other PSE sights may appear very sophisticated and complicated, but the Gemini provides basic parts such as the mounting bracket, a twin pin track, three pins and a basic pin guard. If you are looking for a standard, good quality sight, the Gemini may be what you are looking for. Unlike other sights, the Gemini has moveable pin sights to allow you to adjust it depending on the distance. However, it does not have third axis adjustments for varied elevation and shooting positions. It’s great for basic hunting rigs, or for novice archers and hunters who are looking to learn how to use a basic bow sight.
