Improve Face Wrinkles

By Edited Aug 20, 2015 2 2

As people age face wrinkles are inevitable; however, there are things that will help improve the signs of aging. It's never too late to help your face look healthy and youthful.

Avoid sleeping on your sides or stomach. Sleep on your back instead. Sleeping on your sides or stomach creates creases in the skin, especially on the face.

Keep liquor consumption down to a minimum or completely eliminate it. Alcohol causes dehydration and causes premature aging. Nicotine is another chemical that causes premature aging. People who smoke prevent their skin from producing collagen, which helps keep faces looking youthful and smooth.

Avoid touching your face with your hands. There are a lot of germs and dirt that easily get onto your hands every day. Touching your face pushes dirt and germs into your pores. If you have to touch your face, wash your hands first.

Eat plenty of fresh red and orange produce to improve face wrinkles. Fresh brightly colored produce are loaded with antioxidants that protect skin against free radicals and aging. Avoid processed foods, non-organic foods and excess sugar.

Give your face a good exfoliation at least once a week to remove the top layer of dead skin. Use an over-the-counter alpha-hydroxy exfoliant.

Opt for soy products in your diet. Recent research reveals that consuming soy helps repair skin and makes it look younger.

Make sure to stay hydrated with by drinking a lot of water during day. If your body is dehydrated, your skin will be dehydrated.

Get a good work-out in at least five times a week. Regular exercise is one of the best ways to improve face wrinkles and make your face look fresh and young. Make sure to work out hard enough to build up a good sweat.

Don't forget the sunscreen. Wearing sunscreen daily will help prevent sun damage, which causes premature aging.
