Improving your Garage using Epoxy Floor Paint

This is obviously useful for smaller jobs such as touching up areas of damaged paint or providing a coating for smaller items such as bicycles, household appliances and toys. Typically the cost for a can of epoxy spray paint is between $5 and $10.

For ease of use, a 1-part epoxy floor paint can be a good option. In this type of paint there is no mixing required and a brush or roller can be used to take the paint directly from the tin to the floor. Behr and Convenience Products are a couple of the manufacturers that produce this type of paint and typically it can cost around $20 to $30 for a tin.

An epoxy garage floor coating is a typical use of epoxy paint and the basement is the other room in a home where epoxy based floor paint can be applicable. However it is typically a covering for concrete floors and any room in your home that has a concrete floor can be covered with epoxy paint.

Epoxy paint can have applications in the kitchen and bathroom. The walls in these rooms can typically be subject to more wear and tear. A coating of epoxy paint can be an ideal solution in these areas to provide a more durable, hard wearing surface. In the bathroom epoxy paint can also be used to provide a new finish to a bathtub or basin.
