Once you have passed airport security checks you may think that the rules to be observed have all been successfully hurdled and everyone can now do as they please especially the young ones. There are still the in-flight air travel rules to consider, making it important for you to orient the children about them too. Not too many families have been questioned or detained for improper behavior regarding pranks or jokes that should not be taken lightly as far as the airplane's security is concerned. Hence, familiarizing everyone with in-flight air travel rules is very important.

The first thing everyone should be aware of is observing the in-flight air travel rules about staying in their seats with seatbelts fastened and chairs fixed and straightened. Everyone has to wait until the lights in the "fasten-your-seatbelt-sign"have gone out and the flight stewardess has announced that it is already safe to unfasten seatbelts. That is the only time a passenger can leave his seat and use the comfort room or approach somebody else in another passenger area.

In case you insist in disregarding these in-flight air travel rules, then you can be considered as acting uncooperatively and will be detained at the airport of your destination. In worst cases, you will not be allowed to enter the country or territory you're going to.

Acting rudely or disrespectfully to the flight attendants is also a violation of in-flight air travel rules. Anyone who does so will be initially warned and reprimanded. If in spite of the warnings the person continues to conduct himself in such behavior, he can expect the airport security officers to meet him once the plane touches ground and will be refused entry to his destination. This kind of conduct is taken seriously as a matter of challenging the in-flight air travel rules and will be meted with the appropriate punishment due the offender.

Playing pranks or jokes especially those that make direct reference to bomb threats or hi-jacking attempts is also a violation of in-flight air travel rules. The worst part about violating this rule is that the offender will cause a delay in the flight departure or exit from the destination airport. In-flight air travel rules require that everyone on board will be questioned, inspected, bodily searched, checked and verified until airport security authorities are satisfied that the passenger is in now way involved or related to the offender. The offender and his companions will be detained and will be refused entry for creating all the delays and disturbance.

In worst cases, charges will be filed against the offender for disturbing the peace of for inciting others to create a commotion or panic. In-flight air travel rules strictly prohibit this kind of behavior because not everyone on board the aircraft may take your words or actions as harmless pranks or jokes. Others can be affected health wise or may react hysterically to the detriment of everyone on board. This particular in-flight air travel rules are given much emphasis because they can have a damaging effect.

There are other rules you should familiarize yourself with to avoid committing them even unintentionally. Ignorance of the in-flight air travel rules will not hold water as an excuse. Every flight passenger is reminded to keep themselves informed and abreast regarding all the rules of air travel, particularly in-flight air travel rules.
