Why do I receive an error message that prohibits me from transferring my article from Word. I go to the trouble of writing and editing the article and then see that my browser is not equipped to transfer... Are you asking me to change browsers???

Not sure if you ever got an answer for your question. Sounds like you use Firefox? If you use keyboard shortcuts then you can copy/paste your article from word into the editor. The best thing to do is write it in Word, copy it into Notepad, and then past it in IB. That way Notepad strips the formatting and you can format the article in the editor. Hope that helps.

Thanks jpwriter, no, I am using Google Chrome and today had to print my article, then re-type it in IB. Was looking forward to entering this contest, then remembered why I've hesitated. Will try your suggestion, thanks...

problem I faced when writing an article on infobarrel is the arrangement of English grammar is not perfect. Though I am still learning english. And many of my articles are not published simply because of this problem. How do you respond?

Quality articles are extremely important to the overall success of InfoBarrel. Since all articles must be written in English this does make it hard for some members, native-English or not. Try writing your article in a word processing program first. Use the grammar check, spell check, and look up some resources for English grammar. There are quick grammar guides online that can help you.

I had my article denied for the same reason, although I had it proof-read by a native speaker (American) and tutor, who corrected minor mistakes and said the article was very well-written. I use to write in English in formal situations without problems, and this denial was a great surprise. I guess it was because my article was about how I learned English, and the person who evaluated it got somewhat biased by the topic...
