Insomnia Solution

Do you need to find an insomnia solution? Insomnia is a terrible condition to cope with, and in my experience, there's nothing as bad as not getting a good night's rest - by the time that the morning comes around, you're left groggy, upset, lethargic, cranky, and generally feeling ineffective and gross. This is not a great sensation to live with, especially when you have to live with it day in and day out, for weeks on end.

Because of these feelings, people often look for a permanent, reliable answer to their insomnia online, since the internet is a very vast source for information about natural and herbal remedies that are ignored by mainstream medicine. Obviously, the first thing that you should do is consult a doctor and follow his prescription, but if those solutions don't work for you, there are other options.

1. Wiggling Your Toes

An unexpected solution to insomnia, right? This idea actually originates in the Far East and their ideas about reflexology; all you should do is wiggle the toes on both feet about a dozen times while trying to fall asleep, or more if you'd like.

This motion works by relaxing your entire body, both internally and externally, top to bottom. The ancient practice of reflexology states that your feet are a focal point for controlling your entire body. The human body has things called 'meridians', or channels where energy flows through the body, and all of them point directly towards the feet, so basically, this focal point of your feet connects every other part of your body together.

By wiggling your toes, you create action through the channels of these meridians, which serve to energize and relax your entire body simultaneously. Either way, all ancient sciences aside, it can't hurt to give this method a shot.

2. Sexual Activity

An interesting way to deal with your anxiety sleep disorder. You can't really lose when it comes to sex - it's enjoyable, it can be exhausting and relaxing, and sexual intercourse is a known solution for insomnia sufferers, a possible way to stop insomnia that can't hurt to try out.

3. Ear Plugs

The insomnia solution you seek might just be ear plugs if your problem is that you're a very light sleeper. In my own personal experience with ear plugs, they do a great job in completely turning off all of the external noises, and helped me become relaxed quicker and more completely.

I recommend the foam earplugs over the wax earplugs however, as the wax earplugs can be uncomfortable and prevent all air flow through the ear canal. This is especially noticeable if you lie on the side of your body, as if feels like pressure is being built up inside of the ear's passages, which foam earplugs will prevent.

Wow wiggling the toes. I am going to try that tonight. I have problems sleeping ever since I started menopause. Thanks for the info.
