Ionic Breeze Air Purifier - Cleans Air But Emits Ozone
Air pollution is something that plagues many city dwellers. There is only so much we can do to improve the air quality in our cities without the help of the government. We can however drastically improve the air quality in our own homes. This can be achieved by banning cigarettes, certain chemicals and also by buying a device like the ionic breeze air purifier.
These appliances were designed and manufactured to eliminate dirty particles from the air. The end result is cleaner and fresher air. Ionic breeze air purifiers accomplish this by drawing the circulating air and then electrically charging it. The electric charge essentially separates the clean air molecules from the pollutants. The pollutants are then collected and stored on a stainless steel grid.
This is actually a great achievement for science and technology because these machines don't require a fan and are also filterless. This means that you save money on your electric bill and save money by not having to buy filters.
So why aren't people rushing to buy them for their homes? The answer could be that the ionic breeze air purifier also omits ozone. This is actually a huge dilemma for consumers because in one hand you're getting clean air but on the other hand you're also getting ozone.
There is great promise from such appliances that clean our air. The developers simply need to work on the ozone emission problem and problem solved. Until then I'll put such a purchase on hold because ozone emission is just as unhealthy as air pollution.
