By Edited Oct 2, 2015 0 0

Engagement and wedding rings are symbols of love and marriage between two people who share the same intimacy. It also symbolizes a person’s lifestyle, personality and taste. Traditionally, the most important jewellery a person will ever own are the engagement and wedding ring.

The details in a ring should never be chosen on the basis of aesthetics alone. Remember that everything in it should stand for something. However as times change, the wedding band gets a revamp, the bride’s ring gets elaborate designs. The Irish engagement rings and wedding rings have become popular in the recent decade because of the rich history of Irish.

Claddagh Wedding Rings

Claddagh rings are popular Irish engagement rings and wedding rings. It got its name from the town in Ireland where it came from, Claddagh. It is a simple metal shaped like a heart surrounded by a round protective circle. Above it is a crown.

You can use any metal you want, gold, silver, white gold, platinum and others. It is used for wedding because Claddagh Wedding Rings don’t have a gem. The characteristic is all on the metal itself. If you are looking for a little spike in the wedding band, try this one.

Black Hills Gold Wedding Rings

Black Hills Gold Wedding Rings are from Landstrome. They are popular for their unique intricate design which gives the otherwise plain wedding band a different twist. It is popular because almost no two designs are alike. This is because each one is handcrafted.

Unlike Claddagh wedding rings that are popular Irish engagement rings and wedding rings, Black Hills Gold Wedding Rings are all American.

Ceramic Wedding Band

Ceramic are not just figurines sculpted from clay. Ceramic is also a contemporary metal from  zirconium and yittra that has been formed with other specialized bonding agents. It does not include cobalt. This effectively makes it durable than the usual ceramics used in furniture and other household items.

If Irish engagement rings and wedding rings are known for this history, a ceramic wedding band is known for its modernity. This only came about the recent decade.

Black Tungsten Wedding Bands

Tungsten rings are produced from metal that originated from Wolframite ores. Carbon ally is the usual material mixed with carbon ally to make it to the strong tungsten carbide.

This material is actually stronger than a steal and almost as strong as a metal titanium. Scratching it is almost impossible.

The men’s black wedding bands made of tungsten however cannot be sized. It is possible to customize it and carve it but it cannot be broken down or melted. This means that getting one that fits you perfectly would almost have to by luck.

Painted with black industrial coating, black tungsten wedding bands is made from steel grey. The coating is for the exterior surface which would not affect the tungsten carbide’s color of steel grey. The coating would eventually chip as it is not as durable as the resistance of the tungsten.

Black Titanium Wedding Bands

A lightweight metal, titanium weighs 1/3 as much as gold. This metal when made into men’s black wedding bands is similar to aluminium which would make you fell like you are not wearing anything at all Titanium is scratch resistant, although it can be scuffed by rough metals and display small marks. However it could easily be polished, which gives it a nice luster and shine.

Titanium is known for its strength and durability. Gray in color, titanium turn in to black due to controlled manufacturing conditions and special titanium alloy, thus permanently changing the exterior core to black.
