People accredit fish oil to many of there health benefits, but is it all just a hype or is fish oil really good for you? Fish oil contains much needed daily vitamins that our body's crave everyday and must have in order to survive. Many of these we get in our daily intake of food and beverage daily anyway. We also miss out on alot that we should be getting, but are unaware of what we are missing. There are many experts that claim that we do not get enough therefore that is why we need to use a supplement, such as fish oil, to provide us with what we are lacking. The benefits of fish oil are many due to the amount of nutritious value they carry.

With out proper nutrition, our body cannot function properly. That being said, if you are omega 3 deficient, it can affect the look of your hair, skin and nails, along with making you feel sluggish and unenergetic. A person that is not getting enough omega 3 fatty acids in their daily diet may have fizzy, brittle, fried looking hair. They may also have bad, dry, flakey or ashy skin that may also be due to having an omega 3 deficiency. This can usually just be taken care of by making sure that you are getting the correct amount of nutrition daily. This may be obtained by simply using the benefits of fish oil in your daily diet.

Science has proven that fish oil can help to aid in the prevention of stroke due to its blood thinning abilities. It can help to dissolve already established clots. It has also been said that fish oil can help to stop the growth of cancerous cells in some types of cancers, such as breast and colon cancers.

Fish oil is most commonly accredited with its anti inflammatory abilities, which is most commonly used in people who suffer from disabilities that are painful due to swelling and inflammation, such as arthritis. It helps in the circulation of the body's blood flow supply which in turn helps to reduce inflammation and swelling. Therefore, if someone with these disabilities can manage to keep the swelling down it will drastically decrease or possibly eliminate their painful symptoms.

So the benefits of fish oil pills can defiantly be worth checking into! Make sure to talk to your doctor to determine the dosage you should be taking, especially if you take any other medications. Also, beware of the alergies that many people have to fish, before starting a fish oil supplement regimin.
