You might have experienced going to a fancy restaurant and being served with a kitchen cart. These carts are made to help the person serving food actually transfer all the food to the table at one time. It would much harder to manage without one especially if you have already gotten used to serving with it. Before the kitchen carts people were hiring busboys to send out all the orders to the customers or guests. Sometimes they would carry a very large tray with many different dishes. Sometimes accidents happen and everything drops to the floor. You can only carry so much on any type of tray.

If your job requires you to do a lot of serving or even if you like to provide your guests with treats then you really should think about kitchen carts. Once you know how to organize and stack them up you will feel the relief from the first day. If you still want to have an idea about what these things do or what they look like then just think about being served on an airplane. These are the same things that the flight attendants use to serve the passengers their beverages and lunch. Imagine how hard it would be if they didn't use these. It would be much more stressful for them to do their job and for the waiting passengers.
