Third, when choosing a company sleeping bag to take on a camping and hiking trip, you will, no doubt, need to consider the weight of the sleeping bag prior to making the purchase. Most compact sleeping bags are constructed out of lightweight materials and, as a result, are very light and easy to carry. This usually means that the average camper can go on longer hiking trips without experiencing the back pains and cramps associated with lugging around heavy equipment. Accordingly, if you intend to go hiking with your camping equipment, and can sacrifice a little in the comfort area, compact sleeping bags might be the perfect bag for your next purchase.
