Wear the same jersey that legendary quarterback John Elway wore for the bulk of his career with a John Elway throwback jersey.
Even though Elway's number 7 jersey has been officially retired by the Denver Broncos, you can still wear it and cheer on your favorite football team, or simply to show your support of one of football's greatest players ever. His super strong arm, combined with his ability to make plays with his feet, made Elway one of the most dynamic players of all time - not just his time! Although he set numerous passing records during his career and eventually won two Super Bowls, what made John Elway so much fun to watch was how he could create something out of nothing.
If you're attending a Denver Broncos game, watching one at home, playing a game of touch football with your friends or just want something awesome to wear around the house, why not put on a John Elway throwback jersey and show where your NFL allegiances lie?
These John Elway retro jerseys are true to the original, with the same lettering, colors, stripes and fonts of the same ones Elway wore onto the gridiron week after week. They are even made from the same materials as modern NFL jerseys, so you know they're made to last. They'll survive a weekend at the ball game or a rough game of tackle football in your back yard.
John Elway Throwback Jerseys In All Sizes
These John Elway throwback jerseys are available in medium, large, extra large (XL) and even XXL sizes, so they'll fit pretty much any Broncos or Elway fan.
When you show up to a football party, or simply browse through your local super market, you'll leave no doubt as to who you consider the NFL's best quarterback of all time.
Why Elway Rocks
Highly recruited out of Stanford, Elway joined the Denver Broncos in 1983 as the first selection of the 1983 draft. Originally drafted by the Baltimore Colts, he was instantly traded to Denver, where he played his entire NFL career. His initial season in Denver was rocky (no "Rocky Mountain" pun intended), as many fans and sports columnists felt disappointed in his performances. But Elway persevered and quickly became the league's elite passer.
Before Elway won two consecutive Super Bowls in 1998 and 1999, he was widely known for his three Super Bowl flops in the 1980s. He fought hard to overcome this stigma, even though it often seemed to overshadow his amazing on-field skills and numerous quarterback records. By keeping his nose to the grindstone, working hard and focusing on the team, he eventually won the big game. Twice.
Wearing a John Elway throwback jersey won't only show your fan support, it will show that you believe in overcoming obstacles as well.
