Comparison Review: B60 and B70

If you’re looking for a coffee maker that will brew you a lovely cup of coffee in no time, then you won’t go far wrong with a Keurig coffee maker. The trouble is, this very good manufacturer of coffee machines has a lot of different products for sale, and this can sometimes make it hard to know which model is the right one for you. This article will help you to choose between two of the best in the range, so you can enjoy a wonderful cup of hot, freshly brewed coffee, whenever you please.

Brewing Options & Aspects

The 1500 watt B60 model is capable of brewing your ideal cup of hot beverage, making it different from many other coffee makers out there. What’s more is it also gives you the chance to brew 3 different cup sizes, helping you to get the right sized cup for you. The beautiful Keurig B70 is certainly going to stand out from any other coffee maker you’re likely to come across. The good news is it works just as well as you would expect, and the 5 different cup sizes mean you have even more freedom to enjoy that perfect coffee.

Time to Brew

When it comes to the B60’s brewing time, it takes just 4 minutes to heat your water, and then an additional 15 seconds to reheat the water between each cup it brews so you won’t be kept waiting very long. As with the B60, the B70 takes just 4 minutes to heat up your water, which means you can turn it on, fix yourself a bite to eat and your perfect cup of coffee will be ready and waiting for you.

Size of Water Reservoir

The B60’s water reservoir is more than capable of holding up to 48 ounces of water, which means you can enjoy up to 8 cups, without having to refill your new machine. This is good news as a lot of older coffee makers would hold fewer cups, meaning it would have to be filled more often. The B70 has an impressive 60 ounce water reservoir, making it easy for you to enjoy eight cups of coffee without having to refill the reservoir, now that’s impressive.

Size of Cup

The Keurig B60 allows you to enjoy 3 different cup sizes, so you can enjoy just the right amount of coffee when you want it. The small cup size is perfect when you’re in a hurry, but need a shot of caffeine to get you going, the medium size is great for first thing in the morning when you’re enjoying your breakfast. The large cup is ideal for those times when you just want to sit and relax with a coffee, taking as long as you want to finish it. The Keurig B70 comes with 5 cup sizes, which is 2 more than the B60. The sizes are: extra-large, large, medium, small and there’s even scope for you to enjoy a shot of coffee if you wish.

Size (Dimensions)

The Keurig B60’s dimensions are: 14.9 x 12.2 x 14.2 inches, making it a good size machine, that’s more than capable of brewing as many cups as you need, without taking up too much room in your kitchen. The Keurig B70’s dimensions are: 13.5 x 13 x 10 inches, which makes it smaller than the B60, but that’s not a bad thing as it takes up less room, while being big enough to hold a lot of water.

The B60’s shipping weight is just 13 pounds, which means its overall weight is a few pounds less. Although the B60 is not that heavy, please make sure any surfaces you place it on are strong enough to hold it.The B70 weighs approximately 10 pounds, which isn’t too heavy for a coffee maker, meaning you should be able to lift it and move it to another location should you desire.

Additional Features & Specifications

The B60 comes with a lovely smooth black finish and a stylish blue LED display that will tell you exactly when your coffee is brewed. The detachable water reservoir and the removable drip tray make this model very easy to use, while being pleasing on the eye. With its lovely silver finish and thoroughly modern look, the B70 is a must-have. The one touch control panel makes it very easy to use, and the programmable on/off button means you can have the perfect coffee when you need it.

Conclusion -- Which Keurig Coffee Machine Will You Buy the B60 or B70?

While both models are more than capable of brewing the perfect cup, the Keurig B70 stands out due to its sheer quality and ability to offer you 5 different sizes of coffee with ease.
