Kidney Detox

What is Kidney Detox?

Kidney detox is actually a long process. Juice fasting and a diet full of raw food can benefit the kidneys. Our kidneys and liver enlarge because of the high workload of protein metabolism. If you are having kidney problems or diabetes, a very high protein diet can make the situation even worse. A damaged liver or kidney isn't going to do well when overloaded with protein digestion. A filtering organ which is overburdened will cause the blood to become more toxic and will probably aggravate other conditions.

Fruit and vegetable juices assist in kidney detox. Vegetable and fruit juices are classified as the builders, cleansers, energizers and regenerators of the human system. A mixture of either fresh, raw vegetable or fruit juices will offer all of the protein, enzymes, minerals, vitamins and fats important to increase vitality! By adding fresh juices to one's diet, many experience a rejuvenating effect and healing of numerous illnesses such as cancer, leukemia, arthritis, high blood pressure levels, kidney disorders, skin illness, liver disorders and smoking. Supplying your body with easily-absorbed nutrients, whilst the body is cleansing itself in the fasting state, avoids the dangers of total abstinence associated with water fasting. You must be confident that this method is both safe and beneficial.

Grapes: There are actually between 40 and 50 different kinds of grapes which come in a rainbow of greens, whites, reds and purples. Grapes fill our mouth with the explosion of delicious flavors. Grapes are rich in potassium. Potassium encourages an alkaline blood balance and also stimulates the kidneys and the heartbeat regulation. The grapes can cleanse the liver and eliminate the uric acid from your body. In France, a lot of people will go for a grape fast during the harvest. Studies have shown a reduced incidence of cancer within the regions of France where this grape fast is practiced every year.

Spinach: Never cook spinach. Oxalic acid is destroyed when heat transforms it into oxalic acid crystals which can be harmful to the kidneys. It also binds to iron, causing it to become non-absorbable.

Cranberry Juice: A powerful healing tonic full of quinine, which changes to hippuric acid inside the liver. Hippuric acid can help in the removal of urea and toxic build-up within the prostate gland, testicles, kidneys and bladder.

Kidney detoxification Problems: Fasting can bother damaged kidneys due to amount of toxins they filter. You can try having short juice fasts of 3-to-5 days before proceeding to longer fasts. In order to maintain your healing, you will need to permanently remove high-protein meals, refined flours, commercial oils and fats from your diet.
