Teaching children to be responsible is a task and all patents go about it in different ways. One way that a parent may do this is to give the child an allowance in exchange for the child doing housework, chores, or even good grades. There is no guide to learn how to be a parent, so the choice is yours in how you go about dispensing an allowance for your child.

Some will make lists filled with household chores that the child will be required to complete before an allowance is given. These chores can include, cleaning, doing dishes, sweeping or mopping, taking out the garbage, and other general things. There are many who also believe that this is an inappropriate way for how kids can make money, and think that chores should just be part of a child's contribution to the household. On the contrary, many think that this will teach some financial responsibility to children, letting them know the importance of work and to make money you must work for it. Also that it will teach them how valuable each and every dollar is. This can help them to better understand why parents will not just by them whatever they want.

This is why the amount of there allowance is important. If they work hard and struggle to complete the tasks laid out for them, then at the end of the week when they are rewarded with an amount of money that is actually valuable to them, they will have a sense of accomplishment. However, if they work to complete their tasks and get paid very little, they may feel that it was just not worth the effort, and may stop having a desire to learn to make money altogether. And also, if they are paid an extravagant amount, they may feel like money just comes too easily in life. So as you can see, finding the perfect balance is an important part in paying a child allowance. So if your child wants to know how can a kid make money with an allowance, remember you parameters, don't make the work too difficult for them, and pay them a fair amount that they deserve.
