Kissing Tips for Kissing Well on the First Try

By Edited May 4, 2014 1 0

There are many tips on kissing people give, but here I will share the most important ones.

If someone is stressed about when they will have their first kiss, or are not sure if they are kissing well or right, then there are a few things they should know.

There are a few things to think about

  • before,
  • while,
  • and after kissing.

If someone is stressed about when they will have their first kiss, or are not sure if they are kissing well or right, then there are a few things they should know.

First, are you in an appropriate situation? Some people do not like to be very public with their affection, while others do not care. Know how your partner feels about this. Being considerate of their level of shyness as well shows great levels of empathy, which is great for any relationship.

Or if the person you want to kiss doesn't share your feelings, you should not try to kiss them. Have them open up to you more first.

Next, think about your breath.

  • What did you eat today?
  • When did you last brush your teeth?

Kissing someone right when you wake up without brushing is something for old, old couples. Sweet foods and fruits make your mouth taste better than spicy ones. Gum and mints can always be used against bad breath.

Also, think about if you have chapped or dry lips. Balms can be used to make lips soft and very kissable. It might seem to be a small detail to you, but it often is a big deal for your partner!

While kissing, make sure you relax and enjoy it! Many people forget this.

  1. Most people tilt their head to their right shoulder when going in for a kiss. Lock eyes before, and then close them when your going in for the kiss.
  2. React to your partner. Feel the rhythm for when to open your mouth or do anything with your tongue.
  3. Don't be sloppy with your tongue or over aggressive.
  4. You should think about massaging their mouth. Take it slow and then speed it up later. Also try not to drool.
  5. The rest of your body should engage as well. Caressing with the hands on the hips or in the hair may make the situation more enjoyable.

After kissing, don't make it awkward. Say something or smile and kiss them again quick. Hold their hand or something to show your affection for them. Kissing is a good way to show affection to your partner.
