Knee high boots to wear with dresses and skirts
A wildly popular trend right now is wearing knee high boots with dresses or skinny jeans.
It's kind of a funny trend because you take the most girly thing possible; a skirt or a dress, and combine it with knee-high boots.
Some of the boots aren't even feminine at all, some of them are knee high combat or military looking boots, while others are more feminine, streamlined, classic cut styles.
There are multiple different styles of knee high boots to wear with dresses that are flattering for a wide assortment of outfits.
Most commonly, the boots are either clean and plain in style, have a Western theme, a military theme, or a more formal, polished look.
Here are several different cute knee-high boots that look good with dresses.
Madden Girl flat knee-high boots
I have posted about these knee-high boots multiple times before–I adore them!
They are minimalistic in details; there are a few different things like a zipper up the side and a buckle on the bottom heel and top of the leg, but otherwise they are not overly busy.
There are a lot of different knee-high boot styles out there that are cute enough, but they have so many different frilly things on them that they are hard to wear under pants and they end up limiting them selves and what kinds of outfits they can be paired with without clashing.
These are cute knee high boots to wear with a dress or skirt, and because they come in multiple different colors, you choose one that you like best and pair them with a large variety of styles in order to get the look that you're after.
These flat knee-high boots for women are very comfortable and are easy on the back because they don't have heels.
Madden Girl Women's Hiinge Boot
These are just under knee-high boots–they would probably come up about mid calf.
These knee-high boots would go well with dresses because they are just a little bit more formal than the flat versions above.
These would still be very comfortable boots; they are less of a heel and more of a wedge, which makes them easier to walk in and easier to balance in.
Again, these boots to wear with dresses have just a few cute little details in the form of a couple of buckles here and there.
These Fry knee high boots are very cute and would be a good candidate for pairing with a skirt, particularly if you were looking for a bit of a country look.
Unfortunately, these Frye boots come in at around $400 when they are not on sale.
If anything, they are made out of real leather, which means that they will outlast anything made out of synthetic materials.
The knee-high boots with dresses and skirts trend makes it easier to wear girly clothing in the wintertime because the boots add extra warmth to an otherwise light, sometimes cool outfit.
What do you think? Which of the 3 boots above would you be most likely to pair with a dress or skirt?
