So your about to sign your apartment lease, but do you really understand everything that is stated in the lease? Don’t be too afraid to ask any questions. Its better to be safe than sorry and the apartment manager should be more than willing to help you with any questions that you may have. If they are being too pushy, then maybe you should be looking elsewhere. You probably already know what the apartment is leasing for and what your deposit it, but there are probably a lot more details that you would be better off knowing.

How Long Can Guests Stay
So you have an awesome apartment home and you plan on having guests over for extended periods of time. You will surely want to see whats written into the contract regarding the length of stay and the parking situation. Some leases will stipulate your guest can only stay 3 or 4 days. Also guest parking may be sectioned off into one area of the parking lot.
If you plan on having various parties during your stay, you may be fined for being to loud. You apartment neighbors may not take to kindly and may happen to call the cops. You best bet is to invite your neighbors over to have fun too.
Keeping your apartment home undamaged should be a top priority of yours. Lease contracts will differ from one community to the next. Are you allowed to smoke in your apartment home? What about bringing in your own electric heater? Be sure and not exactly what you need to clean when you move out. Many apartment landlords are notorious for keeping deposits.
So just read over your lease and make a note of items you will want to know about.
