Lalaloopsy Bitty Buttons Rag Dolls

Every year there is a new hot toy that every child wants for Christmas. This year Bitty Buttons dolls or Lalaloopsy dolls are hot. There are other types of hot dolls to including the Elf on the shelf doll and many others. The Lalaloopsy dools however, are basically new versions of a classic favorite. Rag dolls for generations have been popular. They have even had their share of popular toys in the market including the most well know Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.

Lalaloopsy Dolls & Bitty Buttons Rag Doll History

Today's Lalaloopsy rag dolls however are a little different than some of the classic rag dolls in that they are meant to be rag dolls that have "come to life" and have personalities which are befitting the fabric they are made with. Each Lalaloopsy doll is made a bit differently and each has it's own name. They all have buttons for eyes and built into their clothing and they are reminiscent of traditional dolls that little girls have played with for generations.

As a parent you may know about these dolls from a couple of different names. They were originally called Bitty Buttons dolls as they have buttons adorning them for features and as part of their clothing but recently they were rebranded as Lalaloopsy rag dolls as the name was more unique.

Each of these rag dollars are excellent for little girls as presents as they are big enough to not get lost in the toy box and they are small enough for girls to play with them easily. Each doll is 13 inches and made of different types of fabrics in different colors. Knowing the story and concept of these dolls helps encourage a positive playtime and helps to stimulate the minds of young girls at the same time as they have to identify different personality types for each doll based on their characteristics.

There are currently a set of 10 different Bitty Buttons dolls each sold separately and occasionally in pairs and twin packs. The dolls names are Crumb Sugar Cookie, Peanut Big Top, Bea Spells-A-Lot, Jewel Sparkles, Dot Starlight, Pillow Featherbed, Spot Splatter Splash, Mittens Fluff N' Stuff, and the Lalaloopsy twin dolls Sunny Side Up and Berry Jars 'N' Jam. Each of these dolls is excellent to have on their own but some children would love to have certain one's based on their own preferences. Only you know your kids best.

If you want to buy a Lalaloopsy rag doll for your daughter this year there are a number of different places you can buy them. One of the most obvious places is from any one of the many fine toy stores in your area which may carry these rag dolls. Additional big online retailers like Amazon and eBay will surely have a large selection of Lalaloopsy Bitty Buttons dolls.

You may even be able to find them sold secondhand online on places like Craigslist depending on the availability of the specific doll you are looking for. Each doll sells individually for around $40 but can be found cheaper if you are a smart shopper and look around for the best price. Amazon typically has excellent prices and variety so they are usually a good place to start shopping. And once you finally get a Lalaloopsy doll for you girl you can even introduce her to the dolls online world which may enhance her playtime even more.
