Laser Hair Restoration Guide

Though hair loss has been accepted as part of the man's life, there are still many of them who want to avoid the process by getting laser hair restoration. What hair loss really signifies is that we are getting older. While there are some who accept this and age gracefully others cannot bear it. It isn't so much the loss of hair as all of the negative connotations that accompany the usual signs of aging. One needs only to look to the workplace to understand have the perception of age can affect a person's life. No amount of lawsuits will eradicate ageism. In the tough corporate environment no one wants to leave it to chance that they will be passed up for promotion because they are seen as old or outdated. Young punks climbing the corporate ladder only fuel these convictions. Self-esteem takes a lifetime to build and those who are fragile can often be shattered when the hair loss occurs early on in their adult life. That is why men will go to extremes to get back that full head of hair with procedures like laser hair restoration. This hair condition is called androgenic alopecia, which affects a huge percentage of men. It can be due to hormone changes, genetics or lifestyle and diet. These factors can be used to gauge a person's risk of hair loss.

The worst among them is the genetic factor, which means that there is no way that a person could stop or treat the condition. With the advancement in technology, there is now a method that can be used in hair regrowth, which is the Laser Hair Restoration. This process involves the use of a laser device in stimulating the scalp and the hair follicle to promote hair regrowth. This hair restoration procedure is non-surgical. To provide nourishment to the scalp, a detox program may be used by the customer along with a special shampoo and conditioner.

There are lots of ways the hair restoration can be done. Photo-biostilmulation is where the treated skin is exposed to laser light. The tissues deep in the scalp and the circulation are stimulated by the laser energy. Blood stimulation results in proper blood circulation, thus the nutrients will be transported to the scalp and hair follicles. This will then result in hair growth improvement.

Laser hair restoration is getting quite a bit of attention from the public. Unlike the normal surgical procedures for hair restoration, which uses a punch graft or slit, laser hair growth technology for hair transplant uses a fine laser beam in order to create an incision by vaporizing cell tissue. The light emitted by the laser is safe to the surrounding tissue as the light quickly penetrates the scalp.

During the procedure, patients are sedated and put under a local anesthesia. This is to free them from feeling the heat from the laser which may be extremely hot for the skin. This could even result in scarring, which is why the operation can produce unsatisfactory results when performed by inexperienced technicians. Scars prohibit the growth of the implanted hairs. When scarring happens, the elastic fibers and collagen in the skin are destroyed which disables their function to hold the grafted hairs. The implanted hairs will then fall out which makes the procedure unsuccessful.

There are some people who do not believe in this bloodless procedure. Good blood circulation is needed for the hair to grow. It brings the essential nutrients to the hair follicles, so it should be maximized which is the opposite principle in laser hair transplant. Despite the arguments, many experts are still convinced of the effectiveness of this procedure to restore hair for both men and women.

The purpose of the laser hair restoration procedure is to stimulate the scalp to restore the damaged hair follicles from the roots. The patient must visit the clinic several times in order to achieve the desired result. Consider a consultation with a doctor or transplant specialist before undergoing this hair loss restoration treatment in order to determine the real cause of hair loss, the right treatment to be applied, the number of visits to complete the whole process and the cost and the risks involved. This procedure is only a temporary solution to the issue. It can delay the process of baldness and give hair volume. Because of the undetermined answer to the arguments about the process, this hair transplant is advisable for those who have little hair loss but not for those who only have few remaining hairs.

There is little use in trying to comfort someone who is experiencing hair loss when they begin to look to laser hair loss treatment to handle the problem. The best advice is to be supportive of their chosen procedure and after they have received it, be sure to tell them how awesome it looks even if it isn't true. It is all a "head game" (please pardon the pun). But seriously, if the little hair that they get back gives them the confidence they need then it would be totally worth it, even if it is less than a full head of hair. Laser hair restoration is truly an innovation that can help this.
