Leopard print fashion has been around for a long time and shows no sign of slowing down. While many fashions seem to come and go, why does animal print survive? Well for one, animal print is very pleasing to the eye. You can also find it in a variety of colors and styles. Zebra print, leopard print, tiger print, and giraffe print are just a few of the animal prints available. Animal print also has the added benefit of looking good on nearly everything and everyone.

Using animal hides for warmth and decoration gos back to the days of the cavemen. Animals were not only used for food in ancient times, there hides were also used for clothing, shelter, and decor. Just think the next time you put on that leopard print dress you are actually dressing in the style of the casemen and woman.

Today animal print is so popular you can find it on virtually anything. These items include shirts, skirts, pants, dresses, shoes and seemingly everything. Animal print purses are also very popular today.

Leopard print has to be considered one of the most popular animal prints. It is known for its small brown and tan spots. Leopard print is what is called a predator print, like the tiger and jaguar. Zebra print and giraffe animal print are considered herder prints. What type of animal print you choose may be an indication of the type of personality you have, gentle or a killer.

Today leopard skin is still worn by men in African tribes. Leopard skin is adorned by only the highest ranking men in the tribe. This may be the reason leopard print is being worn by lots of celebrities in Hollywood. It is also being used in home decor like leopard print curtains, bedding, and rugs.

Fashion designers have loved working with animal prints due to their style and look. Animal prints have always been worn by top models which moves down to middle class people.

Many people think animal print is not worth wearing if animals are being hurt. Well today almost all animal prints and patterns can be found in faux. Faux means fake. Anything from faux fur rugs to faux fur handbags can be found in stores. These can look just as good if not better than their real fur counter parts.

When shopping for animal print items you can shop in stores or online. I have always been a fan of shopping in store first and if I could not find something in person I would turn to shopping online. Whatever you want to buywith animal print on it, I can almost guarantee you will find it available.
