Leverage Seekyt and Wizzley to Improve Your Site's Rank AND Make Money

By | Jan 13, 2012 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Website owners and niche bloggers are always looking for new ways to build quality backlinks to the sites they worked so hard to create and maintain.  Creating links that point to your main site helps you get more visitors and improves your site's ranking in search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, and Bing.  Making blog comments and forum posts with a link to your website is easy, but not nearly as fruitful as placing links on established, high-quality websites.

If you already use HubPages and Info Barrel (sign up link above) to make money and build backlinks, you should add Seekyt and Wizzley to your repertoire as well.  Both sites allow you to place links within your article submissions and allow you earn money from Adsense, Amazon, and other advertising/affiliate revenue sources.

Seekyt

Seekyt offers 70% revenue share from Adsense ad blocks and Amazon modules.  If you place Amazon affiliate links in the text of your article, they will be converted to revenue share links.  All other affiliate links are 100% yours.  Seekyt is an excellent platform for writing product reviews, how-to guides, recipes, and any other kind of informational content.

As per their quality control measures, your first three submissions will be moderated, but after that you can publish automatically.  Rather than forcing authors into a one-size-fits-all ad placement, Seekyt lets you choose the best ad placement for your stories, which will help you create more attractive pages and maximize your revenue.

Articles posted to Seekyt are quickly indexed by search engines, and the site has an excellent internal linking structure, which allows your content to be seen by visitors browsing other pages on the site.

Wizzley

Wizzley offers 50% revenue share from Amazon and either Adsense or Chitika (but not both Adsense and Chitika).  Like HubPages and Squidoo, they also provide writers with revenue sharing modules for eBay, Zazzle, and Art.com.  Your revenue share is bumped up to 55% if you publish 50 or more articles, and up to 60% if you publish 100 or more.

What the site lacks in revenue share percentage, it makes up for in a stunning layout that looks much more professional than most other crowd-sourced article directories.  There is also more freedom in choosing background colors, patterns, title fonts, and module placement.

Quality control is much stricter on Wizzley than on other sites, and your first 10 articles are moderated before you can publish without limits.  You cannot place Amazon links directly in the text either.  While other sites may turn a blind eye toward overly promotional content and articles written in poor English by non-native speakers, Wizzley is committed to becoming a more reputable source of information, which will help its growth in the long run.
