Limousine Service

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

The best limousine services provide a quality and professional service at an agreeable price. Many services may charge you more than you think is necessary. However, in order to ensure prompt and polite service, they charge these fees to allow them to pay for their high quality limousines and also to be able to get you to your destination in style. Many great limousine service companies will charge very high rates, do not be taken back by this. You need to look at all the fees that you will be paying and decide whether the company is the right option for you or not. Due to their industry, limousine companies have the luxury to charge as they see fit for various services.

With the multitude of rate plans that various companies have, we cannot review all of them. However, a typical example could be mileage charge and waiting time. This is when the company charges their limousine services per mile and by time commitment. A mileage charge may include a few miles(10-15) and then charge an additional amount per mile that you go over this. Some companies will include the drive that the limousine has to take back to the office in this price. You are expected to tip your driver during this time, and you will also have to pay for how long that are in the limousine. These costs are usually billed per half hour or hour, depending upon the company.

The second rate plan is flat rates. Now companies that offer flat rates usually say that their charges are between two fixed points. For example, between your home zip code, or address and an airport. You will also need to tip your limo driver and pay a waiting fee if your driver is left waiting for you during a pickup.

The final rate plan that nearly every limousine service offers is an hourly rate. This rate plan is the most common and requires that you pay for every hour, or fraction of an hour that you use the limousine for. Unlike other rate plans, there are no waiting charges, and the driver will usually take you where you want as long as you keep paying them the appropriate amount of money. Do not forget to tip your driver!

There you are. Whichever rate plan works for you, try to find a limousine company that will allow you to use it. Limousine service companies usually tailor different rate plans to different clients, but do not be hesitated to ask about price quotes for more than one type of rate plan. A different type of limousine may also lower your rate. Just be honest and give your company the right information to help them calculate the best rate possible!
