Nature has created men and women differently. While the hair growth on a man's face is considered normal, hair growth, however slight it may be, on a woman's face is unsightly. Therefore, since time unmemorable, woman has tried various ways of doing away with unattractive hair on the face.

Let us see temporary methods of lip hair removal:

  • Shaving Razors: Most women have subtle hair growth on lips and chins. The easiest and the cheapest yet the most formidable way of doing away with upper lips hair is using a shaving razor. We must never forget that the shaving razors are for men, and must be used by them alone. The razor will remove the hair from the surface and not from the roots. Therefore, when the hair grows again, it will be rough and stubborn like a man's beard. Therefore, using razors is a strict no no.
  • Tweezers: Tweezers are commonly known as pluckers. Here, you have to pluck out each hair individually. This process is time consuming, since each hair is removed individually. Moreover, the skin surrounding the upper lip is quite sensitive. Therefore, you will experience lots of pain while removing hair with tweezers. The advantage of this method is that you can even try it at home. Even if you visit a salon, they don't charge heavily for lip hair removal using tweezers. However, you will have to visit the salon every 15 days or so.
  • Threading: You can even get your upper lip hair removed with help of cotton thread. With practice, you can do it yourself or even get it done at the salon. This method of lip hair removal is quicker as compared to tweezers, since many hair are removed in one go. But again, since the hair is pulled while removing it, this method of lip hair removal is quite painful and you have to bear the pain of lip hair removal at least once in a month. This is a cheap way of getting rid of your upper lip hair.
  • Waxing: Just as you would wax your arms and legs for hair removal, this method can be used for lip hair removal as well. A thin layer of hot wax solution is applied finely on the lip hair. Then, a disposable strip is pressed on the upper lips and the strip is pulled in the opposite direction of hair growth. This method is simple and cheap and the hair is removed from the roots.

All the methods mentioned above are temporary ways of lip hair removal.
