Jamie's Italian (Coven Garden)
Cuisine: Italian
Average Price: £25-34
Opening Hours: Monday-Saturday 12.00 -23.00; Sunday 12.00 -22.30
About Jamie's Italian:
Jamie's Italian serves a wide range of rustic dishes and wines throughout the day. Having such a big name backer, this place has been decorated beautifully and has great ideas in the menu. There are many new twists on a typical Italian range. Jamie has demonstrated that a mid-price chain can be lovable and gratifying. Crispy squid with really garlicky mayo and courgette fritti with the creamy whipped chickpeas, anchovy, caper and parsley dressing are both perfectly fried in clean oil without a complaint of greasiness. Another one of my favourite is the bucatini carbonara with the addition of courgette ribbons to the egg, cheese and pancetta sauce. Well, pure personal opinion, you have your final say.
