Losing Weight the Quick, Easy and Healthy Way

Losing weight is not as difficult as it seems. All you really need to do to lose weight quickly and easily is follow these three simple steps:

The easiest and only way to lose weight is something we have all known for years, you simply need to take in fewer calories than you burn over an extended period of time and you will lose weight naturally. No diet pills or complicated formulas to follow; that are the crux of the matter. In short we are nearly totally inactive in this country, and our portion sizes are huge in comparison to what people on most countries around the world eat. Hence, our obesity problems are growing at an alarming rate. Reduce your portion sizes by 1/3 at first and then work your way down a bit more from there and you will start to see your body weight decreasing.

Second, you need to work more activity into your daily routing. As little as 20-30 minutes a day of walking, or light cardio will help you shed pound at a much quicker rate than without exercise. You may be surprised to learn that minimal exercise will also help to greatly reduce your stress and anxiety levels which put you at risk for major health problems like diabetes, stroke, heart attack and high blood pressure. Just a few minutes five days a week will greatly lessen your chances of major diseases while improving your overall physical and mental well being. Less anxiety, stress and depression means less stress eating while you are burning all those extra calories to help you lose weight. A triple benefit all the way around for your body. So, do try to get some light to moderate exercise worked into your daily routine.

Thirdly, and just as important as the first two weight loss strategies, is to eat regularly. Eating often with smaller portions, or grazing, will benefit you in two ways. First, you will keep your metabolism high throughout the course of the day which encourages your body to burn fat and shed excess fat. Second, you will feel less hungry in between meals and will be less likely to make bad food choices that lead to sabotaging your efforts.

If you follow these three simple weight loss tips you will lose weight. Why? Mathematically you are bringing in more calories than you are burning which is your ultimate goal with any weight loss strategy. You simply can not go wrong when you approach weight loss with solid, basic physiologic principles in your weight loss strategies.
