Make Money On eHow For Beginners

By Edited Jun 22, 2016 0 3

Even beginners can make money on eHow. You do not have to be an internet marketing wizard to start earning through eHow. Many beginners become immediately turned off by some of the in-depth complexities of making money online and thus never start.

I'm here to tell you that eHow is one of the easiest ways for beginners to start making money on the internet. For starters, it's completely free and very easy to signup by heading to eHow.com. After creating an account there, you will need to also sign up for their Writer's Compensation Program (WCP). This is also free to do. You will need to have a PayPal account in order to sign up for the WCP so that they can pay you.

Once you have a signed up to write on eHow, you can begin earning money immediately. eHow shares a portion of their advertising revenue with you, the writer. The amount of money you make is only limited by your ability to create content that generates ad clicks.

Having been earning money on eHow for some time, here are some beginner eHow tips that will help you conquer the learning curve and earn cash faster.

First, make sure to focus on keywords (topics) that are likely to induce readers into clicking ads. This is not to say that you should not write about subjects that you are passionate about, often those are the most fun to write. However, writing about "How To Create Chicken Jumbalaya" is unlikely to cause a reader to click an ad. They will simply read the how to article and then go cook. On the other hand, writing about "How To Install MacBook Air" memory is far more likely to cause a reader to click some computer memory related ad.

Generally speaking, articles about technology/insurance/finance earn well on eHow. Try to create unique tutorials on searching for insurance or how to do something with the latest cell phone. Which brings me to my next point.

Writing about timely topics on eHow is a great way to boost earnings. When new cell phones or other gadgets are announced, there is a large demand for information regarding them. Another great example of a timely topic would be some newly announced government program, such as tax rebates or Cash For Clunkers.

Try a multitude of different subjects and see which do well on eHow. Then, take a look at which are earning the most money and try to write spin-offs of those articles.

Remember, the key is get your eHow on first page of Google search results. To do this, don't go after extremely common and competitive keywords. Focus on specific keywords that others haven't done yet.

Perhaps most important for eHow beginners looking for regular eHow earnings updates is start writing now and write often. The more you try the more you will learn. Don't fall into the trap of reading how to make money on eHow without actually trying it.

eHow has discontinued their WCP. The only way to earn from eHow (except for existing articles that were grandfathered in) is through Demand Studios, which requires following their guidelines and writing in their style.
