Thick 'n Cheesy Vegetable Pizza
Why call for Pizza delivery when you can make the best tasting, fresh one right in your own kitchen. If you don't want to make it a thick 'n cheesy vegetable pizza add what ever toppings you like. 1-2-3 easy!!
Things You'll Need:
12 inch pizza pan
Additional Pizza Toppings
2- loaves frozen bread dough, thawed
1- envelope Lipton vegetable soup mix
1/4- cup olive oil
2 -tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves,
or, 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
1 -large clove of garlic, diced
1/4 -teaspoon black pepper
2- cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1- cup mushrooms, fresh or canned. Sliced
1- large tomato, chopped
1/2- cup pizza sauce, or more if you like
Press thawed loaves of bread dough into a lightly oiled pizza pan, to form the crust. Set aside.
Pre heat oven to 425 degrees
Spread Sauce on Pizza
In a small bowl combine soup mix, oil, basil, garlic and pepper; spread mixture over the pizza crust. Top with the mushrooms, tomatoes, pizza sauce and cheese.
Bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is a golden brown.
If you want a thinner crust, just use one loaf of dough.
The kids will love helping with this pizza.
If you want cheese stuffed type crust, press dough over edge of pan, insert pieces of string cheese, wrap dough over to fit in pan
