How to make additional income writing articles online

By Edited Aug 4, 2016 0 0

This article will show you how to make money writing articles online.

Step one: Your first step is to sign up for a free account at infobarrel.com and hubpages.com. You will initially write just for infobarrel but you also want to diversify so you will write for hubpages as well.

Step two: After you have opened up accounts with infobarrel and hubpages, now you need to brainstorm topics that you want to write about. Think of subjects that you have knowledge of and that you feel comfortable writing and giving advice about.

Step three: Now that you have your list of topics, you need to do some keyword research. This is one of the most important steps in writing articles. This is especially important if you want to make any money. Go to www.adwords.google.com. This tool Google offers is free and extremely useful. You want to place a topic you want to write about in the tool and let it generate a bunch of competitive keywords. You want to use keywords that are low-mid competitive and generate at least $2 per click (CPC). Make a list of 5 keywords that you can write a well thought out article about.

Step four: The fun begins! Now is the time to sit down and actually write your article. If you’re not a strong writer don't worry. Take your time and really concentrate on writing a quality article. People who try and just put crap out on the internet might make a couple of bucks but they will miss out on the serious income. Plus the will probably be banned, especially on infobarrel. To submit an article on infobarrel you need to write at least 400 words. I try and shoot for at least 500-600 words. Some topics you will easily write 800-1000 words.  The longer your articles are, the more keywords you can utilize thus the better chance of being found on Google.

Step five: Your article is done. Congratulations! Now you want to make sure you place a couple of those keywords you researched into your article. However, keep your keyword density below 3%. Google catches on quick to keyword stuffing and you will be flagged.

Step 6: Read through your article and look for any mistakes. Also, run speck check to ensure you didn't miss anything. Even the best writers make mistakes.

Step 7: Submit your article

If you’re looking for more exposure and additional adsense income then submit your article to shetoldme.com. This is a great back-linking tool to increase your articles future income.

Think you done? No way! I dare you to write at least 1 article a day for 30 days. The fact is the more articles your write, the more money you make. 1 article a day should take you no time at all. If you can write 2 or 3 or 5.  Just make sure they are unique and quality.
