The appeal for working at home, while writing online for money, is something that captivates many authors. Who wouldn't want to quit the nine to five (and then some) drag of the today's workplace? It seems that those looking to work at home are exploring avenues to make money online. One of the most popular ways to make that extra money online is by writing for money. Is it really possible to make enough money online with Info Barrel to make it your primary job? Let's take a look at some of the details.

How much do you need?

The amount of money you will need to make each month to quit your day job is going to vary. We all grow accustomed to a certain standard of living. While you can make a little less money and still be okay, the appeal is generally to make more.

Try to look at how much money you are making now at your current job. If you don't have to commute to work, how much will you save each month? How much less wear and tear will your vehicle endure? Do you have health insurance benefits at your current full time job? These are all things to take into account when you try to determine how much money you need to make online with Info Barrel, to make it a full time job.

How can you get there?

Now that you know how much you will need to make, it may be very wise to sit down and figure out exactly how to make the money you need with Info Barrel, to make it pay like a full time job. Let's take a look at the things you will need to consider.

How many articles can I write per day?

Since you may not be able to quit your job until you begin to earn a lot of money online with Info Barrel, you will need to figure out exactly how many articles you can write per day. It may be wise to simply sit down and write three or four, right in a row, so you get a good idea of how long each will take you.

Be sure to take quality into account, since it's very important when you try to make money online writing articles. Try to write articles that are no less than 500 words, and full of great information. Quality articles will earn more over time, as they have a tendency to gain unsolicited back links. In addition, the author can generate a loyal following. Don't skimp on quality, or you will not make nearly as much money online with Info Barrel articles.

For the purposes of the example, we will assume each article takes you about 1 hour. If your time is much less, you can subtract a little. Keep in mind, however, that research and choosing topic will take time. If you had article ideas ready to go for the experiment, it will naturally take much less time. Be realistic when you try to determine if you can make enough money online with Info Barrel to make it a full time job.

How much will each article make?

I average about $1.75 per article, per month (and gaining). This number is quite skewed since almost half of my articles have been written for fun, and not SEO optimized. I believe if all of my articles were written with SEO in mind, I would likely hit $3.00. I make a fair amount of money online with Info Barrel.

For the purposes of this example, we will assume you are pretty well versed in SEO and write decent articles, geared for making money, that earn about $2.00 per month each. If you know you are falling short of this amount, you may want to consider our eBook or look into other options. If you only add an extra quarter per month to each article, it will make a huge difference over time. This example, as you can tell, assumes you will not write any article online for fun. This may not match your desires. I personally fall into this category. I have no intention of quitting my "fun" articles altogether.

Crunching the numbers:

To make enough money online writing Info Barrel articles to quite your day job, you will need to make $2,000 per month, using my example. You know you will earn about $2.00 per month, per article. To make enough money for Info Barrel to be a full time job, you will need to write about 1000 articles. This is no small task, but it can be done over time.

Using the example given earlier, of one hour per article, you can expect it to take about 1000 hours to make enough money online with Info Barrel, to quit your day job. This is the rough equivalent to six months of full time work.

Adding a quarter:

You will need a little less than 900 articles if you can make a total of $2.25 per month on each article. This means it takes a little more than 100 hours less to get there.

If you add another quarter, and make $2.50 per month on each article, you will need 800 articles. Earning this level of income is not easy, but it can be done. As you make more money per article online, the amount of work needed decreases.

Passive Income:

The real neat thing about making passive income by writing articles online with Info Barrel, is the continued revenue each article makes. In these examples, you could actually quit your full time job, and do nothing else but relax, since the work would already be done. Of course, if you continued to write articles, you would make more money. If you hit 2000 articles, for example, you may double your needed monthly income.

Being realistic:

It will take you about one year to make enough money online with Info Barrel to quit your job, using the above examples, in the range of 15-20 hours per week. This means you could work your full time job, and spend some spare time writing articles. Few of us can really quit our full time job before we are making enough money to cover our current monthly income.

It's hard to stay motivated over time. During the summer we want to hang around outside. We all have external commitments that make writing articles online difficult. Perhaps it will take you two years to write enough articles, to make enough money with Info Barrel, to quit your full time job.

You may not be able to make enough per article, per month to make a go of it. If you are not making enough per article, be sure to look into ways to make more money with Info Barrel. It really can be done.

Final thoughts:

You can make enough money online writing articles with Info Barrel to replace your full time job, but it won't be easy. Still, if you have a desire to work from home, and are willing to put time and effort into it, you can make it happen with time.

Set some goals each month, and each year. You will be able to make this goal if you put enough into it.

I find, that if you write about something you are familiar with or passionate about, articles come easier. This is a great article because it puts into perspective what you need to do to work from home. It is good to know it is not impossible to succeed writing from home.

One thing that Jason and I try to convey in our eBook is that their really needs to be a delicate intersection between writing about what loves, and, what surfers online are looking for. It's a tricky science to navigate sometimes (which is why we needed a whole eBook to explain it....lol).....in fact, we are both still trying to master it, with every new article we submit....

This is from your forensic friend who wrote the article about determining delinquency. My friend, you have written an outstanding article that's appropriate for anyone in the field of writing. You reminded me that it's a tough task requiring perserverance, motivation and a love and passion for writing. Even though I've been able to make a modest living writing 18 books, I remember the first one published after well over 100 rejections. Moreover, the money derived from a lot of work was peanuts. But I loved every moment. Your article reminded me of the glorious time. Thanks for the memories and one heck of a fine piece of writing.

Hope to see more of you around these parts, tripe! :) 18 Books is quite the feet! Are they available on Amazon at all? Hardcover books? or are they eBooks?

Thank you to all for the comments.

It's really not impossible to make some great money here. It takes work, but what doesn't?

If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish almost anything.

I think that is the important part to note. If you really want to succeed, it takes work regardless of the business or profession.

I have a goal of 500 articles. I love this article you wrote.

Great article and yes you can do it but we all need to learn more about what pays and what does not. So many of us like you say, write articles that do not pay anything. We enjoy those articles.
Although it is still hard to find the ones that do earn good money.
Thanks for this helpful article

This is a great article. My goal is to make enough for my husband to quit his job. For where we currently live we need about $4,000. Just wanted to point out taxes as well as some of the other considerations for how much you need. You need to look at your paycheck before taxes and not after and also how many taxes you will need to pay when you are self-employed.
