Making Money On The Internet: What Many People Never Realize

By Edited Aug 1, 2015 1 3

From the big dogs in the industry we learn that content is important and links are golden. We learn to find niches that are less competitive and learn that patience is a virtue. We try, and try, and try some more – usually with little result. Many, like myself, hit turbulence during this specific time period because there is no positive feedback from what we are doing.

What we are doing is digging ourselves into a deeper hole.

It is so easy to get wrapped up in thoughts that hinder all of us who dream of making a passive, steady stream of income online. People get wrapped up in the same techniques and never do anything different.

So, today I would like to give some helpful information and some inspiration as well.

First of all, we all know that back links are key to ranking high in the search engines and cashing in on some traffic. Most people can't get links from the authority sites so we write articles like there is no tomorrow.

As the days and months start to pass and there has been little, positive feedback, we start creating a negative feedback loop that diverts us even farther from our goals. As I said earlier, the big dogs like Griz and others tell us exactly how to do it – most of us just don't listen. We keep searching for some "magic cheat code" or something that is going to make us a fortune, when the answers were there in front of us all along. You have to go out and do your own thing, blaze your own path.

Don't just write 25 articles and link them back to your site, be creative. Link a three to your site and then use the others to build the previous ones. Search engines will reward you for the variation, or at least that is the idea. Be creative because the algorithms are changing all of the time.

Also, don't just write articles just for back links, do some research and write something helpful that is going to be searched for. More than likely, that ezine article will get indexed in a position decent enough to get you some traffic to your site. If it becomes popular, then it will more than likely develop some page rank with time. Then, you will have a link with some authority pointing to your site. Ezine will scratch your back if you scratch theirs.

Ok folks, stay focused and keep working with out looking back.
