Mass Effect 2 will be released in a matter of time, coming out in January for North America and Europe, along with Preorder Bonus Content as announced by EA.

A lot of AAA video game titles have been getting pushed back and delayed until next year, making this years games uncertain and less impacting than it intended to be. But with the a solid release date for Mass Effect 2, at least we have something to look for in the first month of next year. The official release date for Mass Effect 2 is January 26th for those of us in North America, and January 29th for those of you in Europe. EA also went on to announce the addition of preorder bonus equipment to be rewarded for those of you who want to have your game reserved early. The Mass Effect 2 preorder bonus announcement is one that will probably excite some of you fans.

EA says that most retail stores will only distribute codes for the Inferno Armor, which looks like a blatant homage to the modern Iron Man armor. Though that is not an insult, as the armor is good looking and is couple with some perks. Honing the Inferno Armor in Mass Effect 2 will augment your negotiation skills, running speed, and combat damage. For those of you who buy your games from GameStop, you will be able to get the code for the Terminus Assault Armor, which is pretty much a much better deal than that of the Inferno Armor. This armor raises your running speed, increases your damage and shields, and adds an additional magazine of reserve ammunition. Not only that, but you also get the addition of a M-490 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon, which spontaneously creates a gravity well that is sure to wreak havoc with your opponents.

Dr. Ray Muzyka, the Co-Founder of BioWare, says that you will be in for a treat by purchasing Mass Effect 2. The quality is said to have greatly increased since the predecessor, and the complaints have been corrected. They are releasing preorder benefits supposedly as a gift to the fans who have been patiently waiting to purchase this game. My bit of advice to those of you who are interested in this game is: be sure to preorder from GameStop. The Terminus Assault Armor has way more benefits than that of the Inferno Armor, so you might as well go for it. You have a lot to look forward to with Mass Effect 2, with the increased graphical quality, animation, story line, and gameplay elements. So be sure to preorder your Mass Effect 2 copy today, so you can receive it on the first day it comes out.
