Massachusetts Golf Courses
Massachusetts is a New England state located along the northeastern coast of the U.S. The state is home to over 400 golf courses. Trullbrook Golf Course
The Trullbrook Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 course with a total length of 6,300 yards. It was built in 1963 by ASGCA member Geoffrey S. Cornish. The golf center describes their course as "New England's most picturesque golf course". It is situated on 125 acres of scenic land complete with wildlife, thousands of plants, and holes overlooking the Merrimack River. Apart from golf, guests are provided with tennis courts, pro shop, and snack bar.
Furnace Brook Golf Course
Located in the city of Wollaston, the Furnace Brook Golf Course is a 9-hole, par 35 course measuring in at 2,873 yards. The course hosts weekly tournaments for men and women as well as an annual cancer fundraiser tournament. After a long day of golf guests may visit the course restaurant which serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A calendar of upcoming events is available on the course website.
Sagamore Golf Course
Conveniently located just 20 minutes north of Boston, the Sagamore Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 70 course stretching across 5,936 yards of play. It features tree-lined fairways, difficult greens, and hazards. The course received 4 stars from Golf Digest who declared the course one of the "Best Places To Play" in 2008-2009. Guests may practice their swing at the course's 15 tee driving range. The driving range ranked in Golf Range Magazine's "Top 100 Golf Range and Miniature Golf Centers".
Middleton Golf Course
Designed by renowned golf course designer Geoffrey S. Cornish, The Middleton Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 54 course with a length of 3,215 yards. The course is described as challenging. It offers rolling fairways, large greens, and wide tees. The holes range from 115 to 240 yards in length. Leagues for junior, women, men, and seniors are available.
Cape Cod Country Club
The Cape Cod Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 71 championship course. It is a 6,404 yard course designed by Emmet & Tull in 1928. The course features undulating fairways and inconspicuously sloping greens situated around lakes and woods. It hosts the Cape Cod Senior Open golf tournament, as well as three USGA Opens.
