Maternity T-Shirts

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

Every woman wants to look their best even when they are pregnant, but not everyone has a lot of disposable income that they can use to purchase maternity wear, such as maternity t-shirts, jeans, dresses, and other clothing items. There are a variety of methods you can employ that will enable you to look fabulous while you stretch that wardrobe's budget.

Go through your closet and see what you can use in the early stages of pregnancy and what you can wear later on. As your figure begins to change and your tummy starts to expand, you will find that wrap tops and wrap dresses work well for office attire but can be adjusted for growth. Blouses and tops that have an empire waist are helpful; bottoms like skirts, pants, and capris that have an elastic waist are also useful. By carefully going through your closet (what you already own), you will find a bunch of items that you can easily use while you are pregnant as maternity wear. Using a basic elastic hair band, you can expand the waist band of your skirts and pants by attaching it to the top button. All you need to do is pass it through the buttonhole and loop it, then you merely need to attach it to the button and you can add up to an inch to the waistline of your favorite skirt of pair of pants. No one will ever know that you used a hair band to expand your waistline if you make sure your maternity shirt is long enough to cover your waist.

Comb through the maternity clothing at thrift stores and consignment stores because you can often find beautiful maternity clothes that are better and less expensive than what you can buy new. Yard and garage sales are another awesome way to find really inexpensive pregnancy clothing. If you decide to buy new clothes, then you will want to look for items that are versatile like dark skirts, dark trousers, comfortable denim and maternity t-shirts. If you make sure your new items work well when mixed with each other, you can easily expand your wardrobe because they can make many different outfits. Always choose a neutral color when buying a dress because you can easily jazz it up by adding colorful shoes, jewelry, sweaters or jackets.

If you have friends who have been pregnant or who are pregnant you could host a maternity clothes swap where you can all swap clothes that are too big or too small. You can easily get new clothes and look fresh and save lots of money while spending time with your friends. Always turn to friends and family to see if anyone has any maternity clothing they would be happy to part with. All you need is to plan carefully and you too can easily create the budget friendly maternity wardrobe that is stylish and fresh!
