Maxtor External Hard Drive Review
Maxtor was an American company founded in 1962, that manufactured
computer hard disk drives. They were bought out by Seagate Technology
in 2006, , but just prior to Seagate's acquisition, They were in the
top three largest manufacturers of hard drives. They now operate as a
subsidiary of the Seagate Company.
The
Maxtor External Hard Drive started in 2006 with the Maxtor One-Touch
II, hard drive, which was marketed as an external hard drive for
personal computers.
Now, we have the Maxtor One Touch 4, which
is a full-featured storage solution. It feature the Maxtor SafetyDrill which will recover your hard drive's content completely, in case your
system crashes or attacked by spyware or virus. The SafetyDrill take a
snapshot of your computers entire content, and be booted at any time
for data recovery.
