Conclusion
After looking at the McDonalds smoothie nutrition facts, it's surprising to see the amount of sugar that each drink contains.  Fruits do contain a decent amount of sugar, but it's the added sugar that can easily ruin your diet.  All of the smoothies are also very high in carbohydrates.

This is why it's important to do some research and find the nutritional content on foods and drinks, even if you think they are healthy.  That's why I'm glad the McDonalds smoothie nutrition information is available to the public.  There can be a lot of hidden calories that you wouldn't know about otherwise.  A simple solution is to identify the fruits used in your favorite smoothies and make them yourself

.  That way you can eliminate the added sugar and other ingredients that make your otherwise healthy drink unhealthy.
