This variable Prickly Grevillea is a favourite with native birds. The leaves are holly-like. Red and green toothbrush flower heads appear mainly September to February (southern hemisphere). There are several different forms in cultivation. It is suited to warm, well-drained  positions and is tolerant of drought and frost.
