Lead light and copper foil Glass projects

This image is originally part of the article Tips on Creating DIY Stained Glass Projects for the Beginner

This image is a good example of poor soldering.  It is not even. If you intend to make a living from stained glass then mastering how to solder is a must.   This was originally made for the top of a tissue box with a lead edge.

When making any projects with lead or copper foil like lamps or windows you have to make a wood frame so that every section is exactly the same. If they are different sizes the the project will not work.

The top pieces shows how the copper foil is fitted onto each piece of glass and then soldered together.
