This coat covered with pangolin scales was presented to King George III in 1820 by the then East India Company's Governor General, Francis Rawdon. The scales have been decorated in gold. This is the only known example of this type of armour. There was once a matching helmet with three plumes. The coat is on display at the Royal Armouries, Leeds, England.
