This handsome male has long orange fur and his face is a very healthy red. There is a lack of skin pigmentation on the face of the uakari and capillaries close to the surface cause the red colouring. Sick animals have a pale face and are passed over as breeding partners for animals with bright red faces. The long fingers are evident here as are the bumps on the forehead.
