Medifast Success - How to Stick with the Medifast Plan
For most people the biggest challenge of a diet is the willpower to stick to it long enough to see success and great weight loss results. There are few who are able to stay on track long enough to get to the goals that we have set for ourselves. The Medifast plan is a great program but it is not immune to these challenges. There are, however, some things about the Medifast plan that allow you a better chance at succeeding.
Have Some Faith in the Medifast Plan
While you are on Medifast, one of the most important things that you will need to have is faith and patience. As the program states, this is not a diet, it is a new way for you to eat regular food and break the cycle of calorie addiction and carb over consumption. It will take time for your body to get used to the new way of working with food, but once it does you will start to see noticeable results. Try to follow this plan as religiously as possible, no matter what. You just have to believe at first that it is working, even when it seems like it isn't.
Be regular with the meals
Make sure that you are eating the meals as per the plans directions and that you are not skipping any meals. For those who think that you will gain weight by eating six to eight mini meals a day and two snacks, let's make things clear. First, you are not eating full meals, each mini meal is actually about 60 percent of a regular meal so you are getting almost the same amount of food, but you are spacing it our over the course of the whole day.
Secondly the snacks that you eat are healthy and most of the foods involved with the lean and green meals are vegetables and very lean proteins. You also get to eat some essential fats on Medifast which can really help improve satiety while on a diet. The idea is to reduce the calories, fat and carbs while keeping you full and satisfied so you do not stray. Missing meals will not only cause you to start feeling hungry, which will lead to you craving the bad stuff, but will also lead to you not getting the full nutrition that you need for the day.
