Men's Athletic Tights

By | Jan 23, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Men's tights: it may sound like a funny phrase put together, but they're more common then you may think. Men use tights for many things such as sports, working out, health and fashion. While playing sports in the cold tights are great because they aren't too thick but they offer enough warmth to keep you a comfortable temperature before you really get warmed up. They're less thick than sweat pants but warmer than shorts.

While working out a lot of men have found that wearing tights for men keeps their muscles tighter and allows them to burn more calories in a smaller amount of time. A lot of men will wear them while lifting weights, running, walking, doing the treadmill, bicycling and a numerous amount of other sports. They're great for running because they protect your legs (especially if you're running on a trail with a lot of plants and dirt) from the outside world and you won't be too hot in them.

Tights are a great way to remember to exercise, plenty of people wear them to work and then afterwords go straight to the gym. They're not visible so no one will have a clue that you're wearing them underneath of everything. They're very comfortable and they aren't baggy or bulgy. The question might arise if you should wear underwear underneath your mens tights. This is all up to your own preference but tights usually have their own built in underwear. But if you'd feel more comfortable wearing underwear underneath then that is up to you.

Some men even wear tights as a fashion statement. The fashion scene is always changing and now a lot of guys and girls wear tights underneath shorts. Depending on how conservative or out there you are tights can fit any fashion statement and can be useful while working out or playing sports in the cold or even in a gym. They are no longer a thing that only girls wear, they're appropriate for guys and girls alike.
