Men's Hair Styles
There are all kinds of options for women's hair, but guys
don't get headbands and flowers (generally) to spice things up. What are the
options for you, guys?
Your easiest option probably involves spikes. Short, crew-cut looks are
actually in right now, but you should consider your face shape before you go
for it. A super short look is going to be better for you if you have a strong
jaw line, a normal head shape, and ears that don't draw too much attention to
themselves. You don't want to draw too much attention to anything too weird, so
think long and hard about whether you have weird facial features you want play
down.
Slightly longer hair is nice if you can tousle it with a little gel or pomade.
You need a little length to get any kinds of spikes or even to just mess it up
a little, and it's much more forgiving than a crew cut for the facial features.
The trick is to decide what you want it to be before you start messing with it.
Do you want to go for the Jude Law look and mess it up carefully in sections?
Would you rather spike it up all over? Are you okay with longer spikes or do
you just like the look of subtle short spikes? Decide what you want and then
make sure you have a good gel that looks natural or wet in your hair, depending
on the look you're going for.
Longer looks are back as well, but you've got to figure out how your hair will
look long. Straighter hair will probably work better if you're going long, but
it also looks nice with a little bit of a wave. Super curly hair is probably
better short unless you're going for an afro - long curls on guys tend to look
more sloppy than attractive.
Don't be afraid to have good hair! I know you can do it.
