Why not treat yourself to an old fashioned shave by using mens shaving soap instead of the usual shaving gels and foams that are so popular at the moment.

There are an endless amount of different makes and models of mens shaving soap out there in the marketplace. In this article we are going to take a quick look at just four popular shaving soaps that are out there at the moment.

The first soap that we are going to look at is the Men's Sandalwood Shaving Soap. This product as a clean sandalwood scent which is going to leave your skin feeling really fresh and fragrant once you have finished shaving. The best way to apply the soap to the face is with a shaving brush.

The second soap that we are going to look at is Colonel Conk World's Famous Shaving Soap. This product as a bay rum scent to it and some of the ingredients contained in the soap are Vitamin E and avocado oil. This soap comes in a small plastic container which can be closed, so there's no need to put it in a soap dish or mug to store it when it is not in use. To get the best shave with this soap, use a triple bladed razor and apply the soap to the face using a good badger hair shaving brush. Always making sure that you have spent at least a minute whipping up a good lather with the shaving brush.

The third soap that we are going to look at is Van Der Hagen Glycerin Shave Soap. This product is fantastic for men who have sensitive skin due to it being a hypo allergenic soap. Some of the fantastic ingredients that are in this soap are oat extract and Vitamin E, which helps to ensure that your skin is soothed and protected against razor burn . This glycerin based shaving soap contains a whopping 40% moisturizers which is fantastic for men who are prone to skin dryness after shaving.

The fourth and final mens shaving soap that we are going to look at is Williams Mug Shaving Soap. This product is excellent at creating a rich and foamy lather ready for shaving. The lather is specially formulated to be long lasting so that it won't dry out on the face. It will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth, the soap is also disc shaped meaning that it will fit easily into most shaving mugs.
